What Meditation is Not!

So often people have been surprised when I tell them I still can get angry, upset, or sad. I'm not sure why. Life is filled with a lot of opportunities to feel a lot of emotions.

Meditation has helped me accept my feelings and learn to forgive others and myself, have compassion and acceptance. I am sure that it is because of my regular meditation practice that I can move past unwanted feelings quicker. For those reasons alone, I'm still committed to a daily meditation practice.

Meditation is NOT a magic pill that will make everyone do what you want and you never get angry again. If it was, I would be able to bottle it and sell it. :)
